DIAGNOSTICS

Holter Monitoring

Holter monitoring involves a portable device that measures the heart’s activity for an extended period of time. Dr. Rassadi offers Holter monitoring to detect irregularities in the heart’s activity.

Exercise Stress Testing

An exercise stress test involves ECG monitoring to see how the heart handles physical activity. Dr. Rassadi uses the stress test as a diagnostic tool to detect irregularities and determine how much exercise a patient’s heart can handle.

ECG

An ECG is a test to measure the electrical activity of the heart, including the speed and strength of the heartbeat. Dr. Rassadi uses the ECG to detect certain symptoms like an irregular heartbeat and the conditions that might be causing it.

Athletes Physicals

An athlete physical is an examination to determine if you are healthy enough to participate in sports and other strenuous activity. During an athlete physical, Dr. Rassadi will discuss cardiac symptoms and take an ECG to measure the activity of the heart.

Cardiac Ultrasound

A cardiac ultrasound, also called an echocardiogram or echo, is a test that takes pictures of the heart. This allows Dr. Rassadi to see the movement and function of the heart and determine where the irregular activity is coming from.
